An incredible feat for their feet...

Bright and early on Monday October 19th Alan and Nicola set off at the crack of dawn to walk 26 miles in aid of The Rainbow Trust. The day was dry with a little breeze to keep the intrepid duo cool.

The route took them along to Godney and on to Westhay, through Glastonbury, down the long stretch past West Pennard round by Dinder and back to the finish line at the golf club. Sustained with pork pies (!) and a short break for coffee they strode on cheerfully. They made good time and with Bentley, the enthusiastic dog, joining them from the half way mark they completed 55,000 steps to the applause of onlookers cheering and waving flags.

Well done to both (not forgetting Bentley) - an amazing achievement.   There is still time to sponsor them - check in the clubhouse for details.
