New member of staff to join the Pro-Shop team

 I am pleased to announce that Tom Snelling will be joining our team from Monday 10th May.

Tom will join us as Shop Assistant/Club Fitter. Tom, who has been a member at Wells since June has previous experience in a similar role having previously worked for Tony Valentine where he received training from major club suppliers, such as Callaway & Taylormade, as well as other leading brands.  After a year there, Tom left to be the Club Fitter for Yonex UK. Most recently, Tom, who currently plays off a 5 handicap, has been working in the shop at Farrington and is coming to us in a full time role in which he intends to undertake his PGA training.

Tom has also has been running an electric trolley repair operation, something that many of you will find very useful, I am sure.

Tom’s appointment will really help us with our custom fit service and his previous experience in the golf trade will help take some of the pressure off our current pro-shop team who have been working extremely hard since our re-opening.

Tom is very excited to be joining us and having the opportunity to undertake his PGA training and I am sure you will pop in to introduce yourself and to welcome him to Wells Golf Club.
